  • I specialize in many cake ingredient and design mediums. There are many cake designs that don’t require fondant to accomplish a stunning elegant look.

If it's the flavor of fondant you don't like but the design you want will need it, don't be afraid of a fondant covered cake- Fondant only covers the icing on the outside of the cake and can be easily peeled off or eaten around and the flavor of the cake remains all the same. When filling out the order form, make sure to give a detailed description of what you want your order to have so I can accommodate.

  • Using a non-toxic food safe ink printer and super thin fondant sheets that create high quality images.-When filling out the order form, please include the high quality image that you want with your order and provide as much detail as you can about what you envision.

  • Weddings are usually planned in advance, wedding cakes should be ordered the same way so we can make sure every detail is perfect. It is important in establishing a trust with all of my clients and I want to make sure you feel understood and that your manifested vision goes beyond your expectations. All orders begin with a consultation where I will go over what flavors interest you and your loved ones. Then I will discuss the vision you have for your cake design and together create the wedding cake of your dreams. I will bring your ideas to life and shape the center piece of your wedding. After discussing the time and location of your venue we can set up a time for your tasting. Once all of the details are concluded and your deposit has been received, your order is confirmed. If you have a last minute wedding inquiry I am also here to accommodate depending on availability- we might need to skip over a few of the time consuming steps to make sure your vision comes to life in time for your wedding.

  • I recommend that birthday cakes, custom cakes, and favors- cupcakes, cake pops, and cakesicles are placed as soon as you have your event date settled. I do book up weeks, even months in advance but have been known to turn out orders within a week of the event date- when there is open availability. The earlier you submit an order form the best chance you have for availability. Every order requires time to create each element of the design and I prioritize quality over quantity. From baking the cake to the finishing touches of the design, every part is done with integrity.

  • All food allergies and restrictions are important to consider when ordering a cake. While I am able to accommodate these food allergies and restrictions, all products are baked in an environment where wheat, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and soy may be present.

  • There many flavors in the cookbook that are not listed and I am constantly testing new flavors and expanding my knowledge. If there is something that you would like that you don’t see listed, let me know. I am confident that I can accommodate your palette.

  • It can feel puzzling when thinking of what size wedding cake you will need. One of the most important questions I will ask you is how many servings you require. There can be other desserts served on a dessert table and there are plenty of people who attend a weddings who never take a slice of cake. Statistically, you can usually get away with ordering enough cake for 80 to 90 percent of guests.

  • YES! Many couples choose to freeze the top tier of their wedding cake or ask for a small cake on the side to enjoy for their one year anniversary. Sugar and even alcohol make for natural preservatives. One year in the freezer can only impact the quality but not food safety- as long as the cake is properly frozen at a constant food-safe temperature. Generally speaking, cakes with more moisture will do better in the freezer. Newlyweds should find a way to wrap the top layer of their cake in plastic shrink wrap and tin foil, sealed inside an airtight container, and into the freezer ASAP. Some venues/caterers might do it without being asked to, but it’s not a bad idea to designate a groomsman or bridesmaid to make sure the task gets done before the cake spoils. A cake with cream cheese frosting that’s left out in the summer heat during a lengthy reception, for example, won’t even be worth saving in the first place. On your anniversary, you should let the cake defrost in the fridge for around 24 hours and then a few hours at room temperature before serving.

  • Typically, a cake will only stay fresh for up to one week before the moisture is drawn out and the texture becomes drier. A cake can last in a fridge for a little bit longer if it has been stored airtight to keep it fresh and moist. Freezing a cake will keep moisture in the cake for longer when properly stored. When ready to defrost from the fridge, let the cake sit uncovered at room temperature for at least one hour for optimal flavor.

  • If there are no highly perishable items, then there's no need to refrigerate it at all. If there are perishable food items like fresh fruit, whipped cream, or cream cheese- then the cake should not be left outside of refrigeration, at room temperature, for more than five hours.

  • The ordering process is working with you to create the vision you have for your order. Generally, all custom cakes are presented on top of a standard cake drum. When filling out the order form, please add in the description that you are interested in something more unique or would like some advice on the matter.
